MRM Selected By ProHealth Physicians Inc. to co-develop enterprise wide risk management program.

Tuesday, December 02, 2003: Medical Risk Management, LLC (MRM), a leader in medical liability risk management program development for physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers was selected by ProHealth Physicians Inc. to assist the Company in an enterprise wide risk assessment and risk management program design and implementation. “As we examined various organizations to assist us in these efforts MRM was the only one that integrated the medical legal experience of seasoned defense lawyers with a sound understanding of physician group practice, information systems and malpractice risk management. MRM believes as we do that properly implemented systematic risk management programs improve patient safety, reduce malpractice claims and support physician’s efforts to proactively contribute to solving the medical malpractice crisis” said James Cox-Chapman, MD, Chief Medical Officer for ProHealth.

MRM’s 12 month engagement will include (1) comprehensive risk management assessment, and a Phase I orientation, education and progressive peer review program.
