Medical Risk Management, LLC & Children’s Health Associates, LLC Announce 2007 Risk Management Initiative

Thursday, June 07, 2007: Hartford CT May 30, 2007 Medical Risk Management, LLC (MRM) is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Children’s Health Associates (Children’s) to assist in the design and implementation of the company’s long term medical risk management program. Children’s is one of the first physician groups in the New Jersey area to establish a formal medical risk management program. The program is intended to improve patient care and reduce liability exposures. “Children’s Health Associates is one of the most well respected physician groups in the New Jersey area. We are proud to have been selected for this important project,” stated Kevin Kelly, President of MRM.
Children’s Risk Management Initiative has been designed in phases. Phase I involves a comprehensive risk management assessment of the entire organization and intensive educational activities for all Children’s providers. In Phase II, Children’s will prioritize the results of the comprehensive assessment and identify areas that provide the greatest opportunity to enhance the quality of patient care and areas that impact medico-legal risks. Both phases provide educational experiences that emphasize the impact that practical risk management interventions can have on patient care.
