Orientation
Orientations can be designed for groups of 2 to 2000 physicians and other providers/staff. MRM's legal staff
in consent with the company's clinical advistors design the content and materials for the orientation session(s)
and conduct the live meetings. The Orientation Program is also available as a web based CME Module.
The essential features of the Orientation Program are as follows:
-
To explain why risk management is a vital part of the organization's strategic imperatives;
-
To establish clear and uniform goals for the risk management program;
-
To clarify expectations, roles and responsibilities of all physician and staff members participating in the overall RM Program; and
-
To introduce "The Imperatives of Risk Management" - Describe and discuss the relationship between the group's (specialty's) loss experience and the rise in premiums.
The orientation program provides a uniform context and "burning platform" that hospital and group practice
leadership can leverage to advance the risk management strategy/implementation.
In the hospital program, orientation and PPR can be tailored to orient new hospital employed physicians, hospitalists, rotating
residents and medical students.
